Producer Madhu Mantena, a former accomplice of Anurag Kashyap (who has his personal mounting troubles with the legislation) at Phantom Films, has been summoned to seem earlier than the Narcotics Control Bureau on Wednesday.
Madhu who has shifted base to Goa for some months now, is predicted to fly again to Mumbai in time for his interrogation by the NCB on Wednesday. Madhu, who has been a profitable Bollywood producer since Ghajini in 2008, is part-owner of the talent-management firm Kwan whose worker Jaya Saha has apparently been naming a number of A-list skills from Kwan as recipients of and/or consumer of narcotics.
Sources reveal that the NCB will now perform an intensive investigation of Kwan. Deepika Padukone, additionally a consumer of Kwan is predicted to be summoned shortly for questioning. Her Whatsapp chats have revealed her to be discussing narcotics together with her supervisor.
Sources say many extra distinguished A-listers are anticipated to be named and summoned by the NCP within the coming weeks.
